Werner Devrieze acquired his skills in Germany principally at Dr. Reiner Klimke's stables. He's now based in Belgium but, through his former contacts, has a very good view on the available horses in Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.

He works now together with Patrick Reyniers, Who learned the techniques of classical dressage through experts as Philippe Karl (who was one of the most qualified riders of the Cadre Noir of Saumur and author of many books) .
This basics learned him a lot of techniques to teach the necessary exercises to a horse. However, the classic German dressage, based on Gustav Steinbrecht's methods, is still the best base to "build-up" a horse.
